I agree with John . . . sarcasm requires a sensitivity and sensibility that sees through the pretense and sham and reveals the dark truth. A tragedy the effects of which will last longer than we will live . . . the rape of Nature defines our age, and perhaps our epitath.

You raise a good point - though sarcastic, it is also, not suprisingly, quite sentimental to some. I think the choice of words and imagery you put across is serious - so on a serious note - this 'haiku suite' was just a pleasantly brilliant read. You deserve an applaud.
