Lol this had nothing to do with my original intention. Music really influences what I write. Hopefully it will still be enjoyable though :)
I choose my reality
Tongiht...
I choose my release
My plight!
Return to me
My plight...
Leave me be, let me fade
Shadows all around
Memories of past rejections
Silence! Not so much as a sound
They can see us through our reflections
They can hear past our words
Deep into our emotions
Every one of them knows
Every single one our insecurities
Stop!
Walk away from me
Stop!
Stop tempting me
Why!
Why do you stand by me?
Why?
Why have you not forsaken me?
Deep down this cavernous course
The other side of the mirror
The steady drip of our only life source
Faint, abandonned in error
You clutched my hand then
"It's going to be alright"
"This is not our end"
Did you sense my fear, my doubt...
By the light our flame
I can see into your eyes
Confidence in why you came
And yet the child within cries
I hold you close to me
It's about to begin
You've done more than I could ask for
But now, I continue alone
