(a throat-infection separated the parallel posting of this beautiful conversation between Zoya Zaidi and myself )
Z.
You hide such a piece in your chest all these years,
and it comes out strong, like a bolt of lightning,
It tears my heart right out, and I do not know,
what to do with these tears that are welling up so
in orbs, called eyes by some,
the mirror of soul by others
My soul feels for you!
Z.
My dear friends, when two souls meet
On a plane higher than the daily mundane
Of daughter ,mother, sister level,
Then there is something very special there,
like from my heart to your heart,
From my mind to your mind
And certainly
from my soul to your soul!
L.
From my soul to your soul
This can happen when two souls meet
head to head feet to feet
Did you know, that on a plane higher than the daily mundane
trees can grow without the need of sun nor rain
And if above the mother, sister, daughter level
a tree is rooted warm forever
Than there is something special there
the tree so strong yet delicate and rare
From this tree the branches start
from your heart to my heart to your heart from my heart
and in this tree the branches twine
from your mind to my mind to your mind from mine
This can happen when two souls meet
head to head feet to feet
Z.
In this world of material needs
It is so lovely when two souls meet
When nothing is there in the manner of concrete,
And yet it is more solid than all concrete!
When two hearts dance in one unison,
When two minds come together under the sun,
When two souls communicate without a hitch,
When ether flows between two without a glitch,
Then there is a relationship akin to divine,
Because there is no selfish motive there,
Because the communication is on a higher place here
Because you understand me and I understand you,
because you care for me, and I care for you.
Because this is a love above the mundane
It is on a higher and sublime plane...
