a scene from the distance between us

INTRO ; Arie

you were

churches

without date

the knotty patch

in your mouth

became  a sky

tied to a skeleton

a little impenetrable

like an artificial nail

circling a lily

The imagery is strong.
The feelings which prompted this give me shivers.
Great work.
