Brian's Song
He sits down on his chair,Throws back his long hair,
Looks at the keys of his PC
Like a pianist at a Steinway,
Spreads out his fine fingers
And taps out a love song
For all of us waiting to hear
The next heartbeat of life everlasting,
Wired into the cyber-soul;
And we see his smiling face,
His smiling face, his visage,
In the screen's reflection,
And he's miming his love song
And we all mime along with him,
Mouthing 'Love never dies'
Until our briny tears
Slowly close our lips.
