Slumber
Razor sharp blades of aged bone flash on tips of putrid flesh.Blood red eyes lay within darkest of caverns, observing, judging.
Tongue flickers too and fro, tasting the essence of fear and despair.
A shimmer comes from within rotten meat that seems to crawl, as if worms.
Mouth widens and screech emits, tearing through mind and soul.
The teeth nash and bleed when hunger can no longer be staved.
It lurches foward with quickness and grace, talons tearing through flesh and bone.
Blackness engulfs all, pain tearing through everything that is and was You.
Awake, lights bright and realm of reality returns to now face the beast that is Man.
