Katherine.
I had thought it just a passing happenchance
A look a touch a fleeting bonhomie
Drawn to her warm cocoon of ambiance
I would come to know at last what true love be
I had felt awake within a dormant urge
A kindling of the fire of passions flame
A wish at last to all my demons purge
A shelter from love's endless sad refrain
In prose poetic with voice of dulcet tone
from lips formed with allure to enchant all
A rhapsody to melt a heart of stone
No sweeter lilt my memory can recall
Her body undulating next to mine
Sensual indeed in it's slow rhythmic flow
In unison we moved in perfect rhyme
As we in ecstasy did loves seed sow
Enveloped in the throes of my desire
A whisper leaves my lips from deep within
On wings it soars from some deep inner fire
I hear my voice cry loud her name Katherine.
