I am a Drop of Water

When coming from the sky, I am a raindrop When trickling through eyes I am a teardrop Both times I glisten but do it differently Once against the blue and then a brown backdrop One day I am sad one day effervascent One day I carry hope, longing of the earth There are a myriad things behind my back Like heartbreak, loss or some grief of human psyche One day A riot of colours reflected through me Another day a desperation trickling through me One day I will make a seed from the earth grow Another day I will grieve thousand times in a row But all along I carry the same chemistry San a difference From the skies I am sweet but from the eyes I am salty
