Head In The Clouds
With my feet in the waterAnd my head in the clouds - I stand still
On the other side of the world,
In that country where the sun always shines.
It's a fine, fine border
Between normality and sacrifice.
Here and now - paralyzed with emotion,
Not knowing where to turn or lay my head,
I walk around the city -
Counting the stones in the pavement.
The city garden knows all of my stories,
And by now, I know the name of each plant.
With my feet on the ground,
And my head in the clouds -
I stand still on the familiar side of the world,
Fighting that rare state of body and mind,
Which could burn a hole in my brain
And interfere with life's choices.
