Disconnect

I`ve been waiting
For you to make the connection
With each subtle nuance
and gentle inflection of tone.

The small talk continues
Interspersed with glances
At your phone.
My breast heaves with longing
Granting you chances with sighs
To comprehend the message
Behind the bedroom eyes.

Why oh why

Will you not leave ?

Wonderful and interesting. I think it is rude when people come to see you and then spend the time on their phone. We should have a bucket to put them in when entering, like wet umbrellas.
