Life in Summer.

The flowers, the gardens, the breeze and the sun,
Seagulls flocking as the day has begun,
The chips they steal, ice cream cones snatched too,
Lemonades made just for me and you,
Apple juice, ice lollies, the sun beaming down,
In the summer it feels life doesn't get you down,
The birds sing, the flowers bloom,
There's no snow or clouds of doom,
Life in summer seems brighter I don't know if you feel the same,
Maybe the sun beaming down and the heat is to blame!

This is so nice. All the things we love about summer.

I just feel like skipping rope with this one. I better not though. I might hurt myself. This is delightful and I love the last two lines. They are a bit off beat in a couple of ways which makes this poem so much fun!!

I like the upbeat mood, the specificity, the color (no colors are mentioned, but it seems a very colorful poem nonetheless!) ...
