Let the rain pour

What I have lost. What I have gained.
The betrayal, the hurt. You left, they remained,
Weeks, months, years go by,
And I still lie here asking why?
But I can't answer, the question is not for me,
You refuse to answer but will not let me be,
Your actions, your choices, they where all your own,
Yet you crawl back to me when your all alone,
Stumbling, falling, your knees torn,
Your heart is cold and you know where it's warm,
Being kicked down by someone that's not me,
After bragging about how happy with them you would be,
You chose the calm, gentle lake water, over the sharp, real sea,
Until you learned that lake water, it only reaches your knee,
You think it's fine to linger, test the water with a toe,
But you hesitate to dive and so the answers still no,
I deserve no hesitation, I deserve so much more,
So if you crawl and don't walk then let the rain pour.
