What remains
We connect withinForever joined
My love finds you
Across the spiritual ocean
Of the inner
And all you need to do is pause
And you feel me within
Loving you
Constant amidst all the noise
And hubbleflubble of day life
And I too
Listen
And find you deep inside
Touching my soul with your presence
Even in our loneliness we are never alone
and never without
Some truths and ways of being and loving
persist and become part of us, permanent,
because they are pure and unencumbered
All the "cumberments" roll off
Dissolve, flare out on loud speaker
so we can notice their passing, they live
through us like a Thursday, a hot meal,
a cold shower, leaving behind what is constant,
what remains.
