glows in the deep, dark forest
like it has been stripped of its skin
bark scavenged in advance of the woodcutter
My insides bare on the forest floor
I am log,
no longer tree.
I'm ready to be sculpted
on the giants knee
What shapes what
mystery do you imagine is
contained
beneath the chisel and
your knife?

on the giants knee
