Rainwater

Rainwater covered the grass in silver puddles,
Like an ocean in the midst of twilight.
Birds sat and bathed,
Captivated by the serenity of the sky
And the heavenly music of the falling raindrops
From the dark clouds above.
There was but a single emotion:
It reached across every plane,
And into every crevice. The air was cold.
In the distance, a hermit danced in the downpour.
His eyes were radiant, and his voice clear and lively.
Nature served as his only covering––
The enfolding sheets of an inviting gloom.
A tree arose in the background, serving as a relief.
For a while it stood solitary and weak,
Swaying in the wind. Within a moment,
There appeared an orchard, and the alone tree,
Weak and solitary, became bold and robust,
Communing with its brethren.
A falling of blue light covered it like a halo.
The hermit smiled, and kissed the roots
Leading into the earth, kissed the hardening bark,
Kissed the leaves forming on the branches,
And ate of the cherries that fell from its stems.

Rainwater covered the grass in silver puddles.
Rainbows were reflected in each~

Commentally Ill
"noah oh, where you gonna go
in the middle of the desert with a giant boat?
noah oh, open up your ears
it's never gonna happen in a hundred years
no matter what ya say, noah! no way!"
-mark lowry

and the flood eased away. next time man would be destroyed, it would be instead by fire.
