I am so exhausted
By the gossip, the drama,

the exclamations and cruel laughter

All this fighting and snide comments
Deciding friendships, connections, popularity,
Presidents
of a sinking ship

True facts, alternative facts,
fake news, true news
left, right, liberal,
green, racist, black, white, native,
feminist, man, rich, poor, rapist, victim
Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Militant-Atheist
Social media

I am tired.

Of this self-sustaining, self-accelerating
Divide

We are all in this self-inflicted mess
Together after all.
