Sadness

Tears of sadness fall
like hot spring rain
onto the earth of my heart.
Until it's soggy.
Steam creating a moody
mist, so even if you saw not
the liquid rivulets,
racing quietly down my cheeks,
the moisture in the air
makes palpable the hidden
sorrow that I must feel,
And feel deeply,
for anything less would be
to deny my love and
dishonour my heart which
trembles and calls down the
rain.

So sad, I really love the line "which trembles and calls down the rain."
