THE DREAM

 

The dream you said,

has left its torso uncovered

to the voracious ravens of reality.

The dream you thought,

has sunk your hopes

to the watery depth of illusion.

The dream you hoped for,

has flown away to heaven

leaving its ruins  as an ancient temple.
