Weeds
Weeds are unloved flowersWith vulgar Latin names,
Invading balanced borders,
Popping up in pristine patios,
Creeping into immaculate beds,
Seeding with no control or consent:
Behold the uninvited garden.
Some people like to remove
The unloved flowers with
Vulgar Latin names,
But I turn a blind eye
And wait for the levelling
Winter to dead-head.
