Pillar of Stone
Through wind and rainHe stands, pillar of stone
Without question, without quarrel
Every full circle his duty repeats
In his darkness, a fragile flower
In shadow, in sun
Protected by the pillar of stone
Wind, rain, a saviour
Pillar and flower
Wind, rain, heat
From sun to moon
As the cycle goes
In the winter alone
No flower to comfort
Pillar, poor stone
The flowers forgotten kingdom
