The old man in the jewelery shop by Ann Wood
Friday night, an old gentleman and the accompanying pretty young, beautiful woman enter a reputable jewelery shop. The old man tells the vendor that they have come to buy a special ring for the lady. The seller offers a 500 euro ring. The old man says:- No, no, I want something more beautiful, unique.
The seller has a precious ring for 10,000 euros.
The Old Man:
- We'll take it. But I will pay by check. I know you have to make sure everything is okay with my account, so the check will write it now, and on Monday contact the bank. In the afternoon I will come for the ring.
On Monday they call him nervously from the store and say,
- You have no money on the bill!
The Old Man:
"I know I have no money. But I had a wonderful weekend!
