Done, and Cannot be Undone

Though I did not mean to, I did

Break the spine of my book, a very

Good book at that. I laid it flat

And the deed was done; now,

Whether I wish it or not, the book,

Falling open naturally, recommends:

"Here's the garden she walked across,

Arm in my arm, such a short while since:"

How did you manage to turn this into a beautiful poem? But, you did. It's done!

Ah, Robert Browning!

I like the ending. Although what the speaker did seems bad in the beginning, the end justifies the intent.

Your unintended action produced a very pleasant reaction. Karma?
