Our holiday at the sea side day twenty –two by Ann Wood
It is our third day in Scotland for change it is nice and sunny. I am ready for the day and sitting in my rocking chair near my window writing latter to my friend Monica she have birthday in few days time. It is 6:30am but I already up and busy, my mom is also up early and cooking breakfast. It is my grandpa birthday today; she will make us full Scottish breakfast and his favorite cake. A full Scottish breakfast is just like a full English breakfast, except it comes with black pudding, lorne sausage, and tattie scones. Haggis is sometimes included, as is white pudding (similar to black pudding but with the blood substituted for fat). Tattie scones may be bland to some, but serve them with lashings of butter and you're good to go. Expect to leave the table feeling full and content. Late night? Most places in Scotland serve this hearty breakfast all day long. At 8am we all have our breakfast together in our caravan both families. After breakfast I clean the table and take both dogs for walk, when I back, we all go out for long walk. For lunch we go in Italian eatery and have pasta and pizzas with salad and Italian wine for the adults. For pudding we have tiramisu and Italian ice cream with lemonade. After we finish our lunch we go to the cinema and watching Titanic on 3D. After that we go for walk and dinner in the pub near where we stay they was have live music night. We have Scotch Pie This wee pie may be small, but that doesn't take away from its flavour. The double crust makes for the most perfect pie taste. A Scotch pie can be served hot or cold, and has a filling of minced mutton or other meat. Every year, butchers and bakers from far and wide compete for the honourable title of World Scotch Pie Champion. It's kind of a big deal. It was served with babies' carrots, potatoes, broccoli and gravy. After dinner you go back to our caravan and have the birthday cake with coffee and tea. We all sing happy birthday song and cut the cake. At 12 o'clock my uncle family goes to their caravan and I help mom to clean the lounge and then we both go to our rooms. I was myself brush my teeth and get ready to bed. It was 1am when I get to bed. Good night world sleep well and sweet dreams from me.Short story by Ann Wood
