A great sports story (even if you don't like sports):

The Curious Case of Sidd Finch

He came. He went—a meteor,

tall and spare, idiosyncratic,

beyond the scope of . . . us.

He came. He showed that

the impossible was possible,

and he did so without words.

He came, he took off his shoe,

he picked up the ball,

and then . . . he threw it.

He came, and now he is gone.

It is April, the game is on.

Let us remember the man.

Look at the size of his foot! Looks more like an aircraft carrier. A fine tribute I would imagine (not knowing him).

Shoeless Joe. A great ball player well remembered here. Nice work Jim.

There were an English footballer - by the name of Stanly Mathews
Who were being chased by an Italian - who were very slow!
Stan were king of dribbling with the ball!
Nearest the Italian could get - were wrapping his arms around
Stans waist!
Pulling down Stans shorts!
Stan shorts became like pencil scert!
Stan dribblde on - and scored a goal!
