Just some silly thoughts on a quiet pleasant afternoon

Circumvolution

There's a rhythm to the motion
Of the boat in harbour
Undulating in natural ease driven
By the wind and catspaws

Occasionally a vessel disrupts
The predictable cadence with
Wakes and noises of its passing
Disturbing my thoughtful ease

Transient but in itself
A call to change poised
On the brink of conscience
To address a new dimension

Is disruption the seed of change
Is change a cerebral domain
Or is it preternatural an ancient
Brain reaction to disruption

The rhythm returns and so do I
To thoughtful ease and random
Musings of wind and catspaws
Leaving four to better dreamers

"leaving four to better dreamers ..."

Think you are The dreamer, the thoughtful one ...

Such a marvelous poem ... it gave me such ease, such paus ... the wording just came to me (the reader) like waves ... I would never, ever think to rock that boat
