This is my sea by Ann Wood

This is my sea,
over which the pink roses the sunset,
the waves drown asleep shores
whispering to them, recalling the summer.

This is my sea,
lovingly embraced by my heart,
it remembers my steps since childhood,
and keep all my memories.

This is my sea,
with him I run for comfort
when my soul torn in two,
is huddled there and waiting for support.

This is my sea,
there I want to feel last breath
to live in the sea-heart,
and to bang in his immense rhythm.
