Sitting in a chair on a dull day thinking way beyond the need. And outside the box

Listless

Today my mood
Is listless a word
That confounds
My inner being

I have no list
To activate
No path to
To positivity

I sit here thinking
Of variations
On associations
With list

Without a list
I lean neither
Left or right
Is that all right

Without a list
I'm without
A spark is
That a lark

Listless I am
Worth more
Or less damn
Another word

Worthless does
That mean worth
Less or of no
Value

It's opposite
Could be
Worth more
Or valuable

Damn another
Word value
Able or value
Not able

This is getting
Off the rails
Or maybe
Convoluted

Damn another
Word ...

Here's an engaging wordplay, Joe. Members of Coo & Co particularly like the fourth stanza, with its contemplation of neither left nor right leaning :>)

I, too, applaud the way you've worked through this listlessness. This made for a good read!

We've all been there, with bouts of listlessness. I really like the way you've used short stanzas, and the way they conveyed the listlessness of the speaker.

This poem is full of what seems to be unconvoluted words from a convoluted mind. It twists my thoughts with its intricate wrapping of wordplay. I follow it, gladly. :)
