A morning thoughts on the need to look beyond the hectic frenetic demand that we stay in the "now" of social media

Tomorrow

I am at a loss
How can one deny
The fact of everafter

Is now so demanding
That tomorrow fades
To nothing in it's clamour

The raw and ignoble noise
That heralds the present
Cannot hide the precious
Gift of calm eternity
It's quiet relation

Raucous brash self-entitled
Must always inevitably
Be vanquished by the
Sly ubiquitous stealth
Of tomorrow

Here's to sly ubiquitous stealth! May it always conquer the raucous, the brash, the self-entitled.

Like you wrote in the introduction section, social media urge their users to stay in "here and now," and oftentimes portray only the bright sides. To focus on tomorrow is to go against the flow. Well-put, Josephus!
