closed my eyes the other day and saw this Dali picture unfold

A Daliesque Rhapsody

Poppy tetrahedrons and lupin blue spheres
Ivory columns wet with tears
Backdrop the portrait of the puppeteer
Who mocks the dolls while small crowds jeer
And time the jester disappears

The AAAAA rhyme scheme leans well to the Rhapsodic feel of the poem and the madness the images create. Love it!

I'm tempted to say, "What have you been smoking?" But I won't.

I would say that as well as Daliesque, I would add Dylanesque (Bob, not Thomas).

Surreal indeed.

The poem's first two lines attract the reader instantly, and the entirety of the poem delights. The quintuple rhyme seems effortlessly achieved! Many thanks.
