Simple thought...on time, present and tomorrow

Tomorrow

I am at a loss
How can one deny
The fact of everafter

Is now so demanding
That tomorrow fades
To nothing in its clamour

The raw and ignoble noise
That heralds the present
Cannot hide the precious
Gift of calm eternity
It's quiet relation

Raucous self-entitled now
Must always inevitably
Be vanquished by the
Sly ubiquitous stealth
Of tomorrow

I wish that for at least 5 minutes, the peace could creep into today, it does, it presents within nature, for me anyhow

I respond with enthusiastic concurrence to the first four lines of the third stanza! "The raw and ignoble noise/ that heralds the present" seems accuracy epitomised!

As I was reading, though, I found myself wishing for a greater number of concrete nouns and fewer abstract nouns.

But I do like certain turns of phrase here: "raucous, self-entitled Now." Yes. Quite true!
