You will cry by Peyo Peev traslated by Ann Wood

You will cry for your children, Bulgario,
though you persecute them today!
Out of the laurel over people deceived,
a whole generation is gone!
Our children hated our motherland,
estranged without a drop of respect.
Father's oath, they did not obey.
An entire generation has disappeared.
You will cry for your children, Bulgario,
as soon as the playgrounds are history.
Motherland is a pain unspoken.
We are already on the map.
You will cry for your children, Bulgario,
that here today is the paradise of the scoundrels.
We cut our forests to the roots,
even the birds will leave from here.
You will cry for your children, Bulgario,
the last time they hit the bells again.
Who will send us beyond?
With love, who will bind our wounds?
