Broken light shines
A broken light still shines
if you can reignite its flame
but it will not shine the same
a deceiving "love" was to blame.
What was never broken, can never understand;
the cascading tears
the "I'm not good enough" fears
the wasted with the wrong person years.
If you can reignite its flames,
a broken light, can still shine
all it needs is kindness, and time,
and a love that doesn't play games.
