Such endeavours to bring in verse
Rhymes of measured choice
Every word in our mind, we rehearse
Lending emotion to our scripted voice

To bring once into the public eye
Those words as poems writ'
Self aclaim we would still deny
On poetic charms that so easy sit

Applause with gratitude, and more
The "Editors Choice" a golden star
Praise indeed, of that I'm sure
Still the journey is not over by far

Let me continue on my poetic quest
Rest not my laurels on a job well done
Aknowledgement of my peers, at best
Far from ended this path just begun
