War on the streets by Ann Wood

Every day we hear or read about somebody who died on the street from a car crash or fight between gangs.
Every day there are victims of natural disasters, diseases or planes or train crashes.
People drive fast or drunk or drugged.
Others make bomb attacks or fight with knives or pistols.
People are raped or beaten and robbed for yellow pennies.
Life has become very dangerous and difficult.
Let's be a little kinder and considerate of each other.
Life without anything else is very confusing and difficult.
Let's make love, not war.
May our children grow alive and well and give them a better life.
Life is too short to waste it on street wars.
