Old parents by Ann Wood
"Somewhere in the world, an ad appeared on the pages of a newspaper:" I sell my elderly parents for 10,000 euros. My father is 91 and demented. My mother is 89, she is still
and lives with someone else's help "
People have been discussing the case for days:
"How can such ugliness be?" -
some said.
"Hey, why don't the authorities intervene?"
- wise others.
"God, that's a sin!" - baptized third.
“To buy so much unnecessary money is crazy. - commented on others.
The ad also read one family,
which has long since lost its parents. They decided to take the elderly and take care of them. They transferred the money by bank transfer and went to take it home. They arrived at the address and saw a huge mansion. An elderly man looking good came on the phone.
- We are coming to take your parents. We have already paid the amount. -
said the young man.
- People, explain to me why you gave so much money to these elderly people?
It will only be work and care for you. the old man asked.
- Because our parents left early and we miss them very much. We have two young children and we want to have a grandmother's hug
and grandpa, sit on their lap and listen to tales, sleep with them and play
with them. We want to educate them
respect for the elderly…
The elderly man called his wife by name. She was with a cane, but she moved and smiled good-naturedly.
-We'll come with you, that's us! the old men smiled!
- How so, the ad said,
that the people who sell them are bad !? -
asked the young family in astonishment.
"I'll tell you now." We lived in love and understanding, we worked, we made money, we built this mansion, but fate did not give us children. We decided to donate everything to some good people, but we didn't know how to find them and we came up with this ad.
We are happy now that we really are
and our money will be in good hands. "
