As at the beginning by Nidialko Yordanov translated by Ann Wood
AS AT THE BEGINNINGHow gentle we are ... How quiet we are ... There is no cry or laughter ...
The empty streets ... The full bags ... Here ... Really - fear.
We didn't believe for a long time ... It is not possible ... Everything aside now ...
Stay home ... Start here too ... This insidious war.
Crying Italy ... Dante's Hell ... Europe Shake ... Nightmare!
It was as if we were dreaming ... A terrible thing was coming ... Lord, how old am I!
How stupid I am probably ... I don't believe it ... And I'm going out ...
Well, it's not all dead yet ... I hear the tram bell ...
The chestnut is already full ... Birds above it are chirping.
Here ... The boy got a threesome ... Nothing to fine.
Three times a day - cruel statistics ... No hope for an end.
Looking for a cure ... Where is it? In America? More likely in China.
As if that illusion came true ... Man for man is brother!
Never, never happened ... Together ... The whole world ...
I am already at a dangerous age ... No return from there ...
But I want to live ... I want to know tomorrow ...
Maybe we will become smart already ... Maybe even good ones ...
Just the way someone created us in the beginning.
