Give me back, God, the light!Give me back, God, the light,
in my eyes you lit it again -
be a sunny earth,
the night to become sunrise light.
To see people's smiles
and turn them into a colorful song ...
The rainbow is coming in me -
to build a bird house for her.
Give me back, God, the light,
and give me wisdom to keep it
for everyone on earth
after me they will ever be born.
