Thank God I can walk in my garden and tend the life beginning there

My Garden Lives

My garden lives
Daffodils nod as I pass
On my way to awakening
Clematis and tiger lilies
Removing last year’s
Leaves folding back
Winter’s quilt exposing
Nascent blood red
Bleeding Hearts
Kelly green
Gladiolus and Iris
A glorious counterpoint
Of awakening life
In the midst of
the dreadful dirge
Of this global death

Very nice, Joe. Nature goes about its business, despite our troubles. We'll have our spring, too, at some point.
