Like
Like the cold sharp waves my legs thrash at the sheets,
Like drum and bass my heart it beats,
Like the dark winds in winter I call out your name,
The air settles once more, winds start to tame
The clouds hurry through, the rain and mist clear,
I awaken from a nightmare, again your not near,
The moons white glow, my pale drained face
Like the drizzle at the window, my tears slowly race,
Like the mean wind in summer, my temper once more,
The cool breeze flowing, the ball rolling on the floor,
My mind is content when thoughts don't lead and drain,
Like the sun beaming down, my smile comes once again
