Nostalgia
How crazy it is
That the feeling I get
When I let my mind wander
Into daydreaming
Is nostalgia
In today’s society
With constant input
My mind is never wandering
On its own
Getting lost in ideas
Epiphany’s
Creations
Imaginations
No.
My mind is led
Through already paved paths
Fed already prepared food
No space for innovation
Left with stagnation
Of a potentially neuroplastic brain
Oh what a waste
In today’s society
We need to actively
Daydream
Turn off all input
To get an output
craving to be released
from years of captivity
Oh how crazy
That daydreaming
Makes me nostalgic
