i think we can do this   this is 

our new reality

being careful   thoughtful   considerate   adapting  

most of us are at least trying

smart people 

are innovating   inventing   creating 

working hard solving problems   less dogmatic 

politicians 

are trying to be a part of the solution   

we’re learning what’s important   

who is important   

we’re learning to say please and thank you again  

this is our future   and marketa reminds me   

the past wasn’t perfect   either
