obviously   if the orange is there

one of us will eat it 

just as obviously   if any goal is enticing enough

there will be a way to get there

(if it is not too hard)

heaven is a goal i never wanted   that may change

for now   i prefer to think of myself 

becoming motes

in the cosmos   but you   you want heaven   you will 

find a way there   even if it takes a tortured

and convoluted path   

you are willing   the end will justify the means   

be comforted in knowing the difference between heaven 

and the cosmos is largely in the landscaping
