I by Ann Wood

I take a risk and I love again ...
I take a risk! And I love again!
And I can stop whenever I want.
I swallow myself and really,
I choke the tears in my eyelids ... or squeeze them.
I'm scared! And I'm real again,
at least for these people, with souls!
For the rest - a banal scraping song,
even without a gramophone and a record in their minds.
From the laughter of the insincere,
you often lower your necklace,
and I baptize every son with their name;
then I give it to them as a souvenir so that they may have me.
From the arrogant and the unassuming *,
and the little I do or have,
I draw my new path to happiness,
on which they do not go with me, but remain in their world ...
I stay here like a shadow
and radiance for tomorrow's non-fulfillment,
the next day without suffering,
pain, doubt, confusion ...
I take a risk and I love again ... this is my message!
