all but she

i knew she was not

the one

for me   for when i yawned

ne'er did she   but looked at me

blank . . . ly

that shows   to me   a

lack of em . . . pa . . . thy   yawn

once

in a bar or club   or on an oaken pew

in terre haute or kalamazoo   and all

around

you'll see a sea   of

open mouths in har . . . mo . . . ny

all but she

I like how you stretch the words by using ellipses: it gives a feeling of yaw . . . ning. I also find the contagious nature of yawning amusing. Some people believe it to be a sign of sexual attraction.
