I assume the end  of  cyber love affairs often happen this way. Hope it fits the challenge.

Bleep Bleep by M.A.Meddings a poem for Night Soul womans challenge

Bleep, Bleep
Bleep, Bleep
The sound I await
Excitement

The text alert
Every morning at nine
Right on time
In your land not mine

With the kisses all four
one two three more
today there was none
the kisses all gone

one more each day
They are going away
Now down to three
Then two there will be

Then one at a time
I lose the sweet line
of your text messages
Answering Mine

Oh yes, it's so true! It's amazing how a couple of black pixels on the screen can do that to us!
Hero style when it is at its best!

this is very clever Michael. I love the title. Here's to never having less than four kisses in any message from a sweetheart. lol

Such a contemporary theme here Mike, I am sure we put too much store in text than we should, one man today, told me I was not a friend of someone I have been through hell with, just because I had not face to face with them! I call that, short sightedness beyond belief! Your poem shows just how important the word or x is. I try to be more careful these days.

A poem with a little wrench but truth is, and you express it so well, romantic to the last x

Smiling at you,

tai
