On a lovely Spring day...

Snowing Petals

And the East wind doth blow
And the trees
Are snowing petals
And wondrous swirls of white
Are dervishing round my garden.

I love the swirling and dervishing quality of the snowing petals. Reminds me of Sufi whirling -- going round & round in perfect meditation.

Dervishing, such lovely word usage. A gem of a piece.

Whirling dervishes of snowing petals. What a wonderful and descriptive image you have painted. Enough so for this reader to see it, feel it, and, and almost smell the fragrance of those petals.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Liam.

For me, the use of dervishing, absolutely makes this poem's imagery jump out. Just lovely.
