Is it love by Ann Wood

Is it, love
Is love when two hands
stretched out in the dark they seek,
they touch your face gently,
and you never want them to stop.
Is it love when you hear someone's heart,
in one with yours to beat,
and even though you don't understand it well,
and there is no room for unnecessary words.
Is love when two bodies,
in a single merge
and at that moment, everything else in the world,
it suddenly loses its meaning.

It MAY be love. It may be infatuation, a passing fancy. Love comes with time, perhaps.

It surely is love, Ann. I like the list of many rhetoric questions you've asked in the poem. Nicely done!
