So this one is not a typical ghazal. I just took the format and had some fun with it.

Fitspo

Woke up at 6, even though it's Sunday
Fit bit says it's must-go-for-a-run day.

With earphones in, I jog around the park,
Following the Nikes I'll afford one day.

Picking up pace, I trip over a stump
My knees bruised, oh! what a fun day!

Quick shower, band-aids, and my go-to day dress
Salad for brunch on girls-just-wanna-have-fun day

Cheers! YOLO! shot! shot! shot!
‘But Annica, you still weigh a ton, dear’

I have checked "excellent" twice below! I echo previous commenters. I do enjoy good verse in a set form, especially when light-hearted and fun, as here. Well done!

Lady Courtaire
Love a ghazal and *love* a poem that takes a strict form and has fun with it! This was an absolute delight to read.
