This time of year my garden seems to say "I've spent the summer in wild array and now I'm tired and in need of sleep"

Sated Garden

Phlox are slowly easing their

Way towards winter sleep

Daffodils and tulips have long

Gone to their hibernal rest

Morning glory’s droop and sigh

Clematis blossoms now anemones

Roses of Sharon valiantly bloom

Impatiens show a lacklustre side

Mornings now are wet with dew

Soon frost will paint its monochrome

knell to summer a call to Fall

Approaching snows will cover all

I miss having a garden and how when looking out the window, mine looked just as nice as any other in the neighbourhood...

when under 2ft of snow :)
