Maple Aerobatics

Crimson rimed in gold

effortlessay performing chandelles

and loops in total disregard

of gravity riding the errant winds

with a grace born of nonchalance

a condor would envy until

in regal splendour it gently

lights on a serindipitous spider web

to display its sun backed glory

resting regally till its aerobatic

way is recommenced by the motion

of a monarch's wing.

Maple leaves and condors are not alone in knowing how to ride thermals and defy gravity. This poem comes from experience I suspect.

I love the movement you've captured.
